Machine Learning for Healthcare Management

General information:

After an introductory lecture by Prof. Riccardo Bellazzi, I will hold 5 meetings on optimization and ML for healthcare management applications between March 27th and April 29th. The total duration of the course is 12 hours.

Main topics:

• Machine Learning techniques: Regression, Classification, and Clustering

• Linear Programming, Integer Linear Programming, and Online Optimization

• Exact algorithms and metaheuristics

• Application examples in operating room planning & scheduling, appointment scheduling, health facility location, and ambulance management
